Dr. Zoran Lekic

Dr. Zoran Lekic, with a distinguished career spanning over three decades, is a specialist in general, plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, with sub-specializations in hair transplantation and laser aesthetic surgery. Dr. Lekic's educational journey began at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, where he graduated in 1985. His commitment to surgery led him to the First Surgical Clinic in Belgrade, embarking on a specialization in general surgery and completing his specialist exam in 1991. His pursuit of excellence didn't stop there; he further specialized in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, passing the specialist exam shortly thereafter.

Dr. Lekic's extensive experience includes working at the General Surgery Department of the First Surgical Clinic in Belgrade and serving as a medical doctor in the Yugoslav National Army. In 1987, he joined the Emergency Surgery Center at the Clinical Center of Serbia, gaining vast experience across general, plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeries. His skills were particularly honed during 1991-1994, treating numerous wounded patients during the conflict in the former Yugoslavia.

Transitioning to private practice in 1994, Dr. Lekic continued to advance his specialization in plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the Clinic for Plastic Surgery and Burns within the Clinical Center of Serbia. Since 1999, he has dedicated himself exclusively to private practice.

Dr. Lekic has furthered his education with postgraduate courses worldwide, including in New York, Princeton, Prague, Umee, Kyoto, Yokohama, Athens, Mexico City, Lisbon, Paris, and Abidjanu, covering various facets of aesthetic surgery, hair transplantation, and laser aesthetic surgery.

His professional affiliations are as impressive as his education, including memberships in the World Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the European Association for Laser Aesthetic Surgery, the Private Medical Chamber, all national societies, and the Private Medicine Board.

In 1993, Dr. Lekic established MENSSANA, among the first in the region, which grew into a specialized hospital in 2008. Dr. Lekic's vast experience, including over 37 years in surgery and 33 years in aesthetic surgery, positions him as a leader in his field, providing confidence and expertise to successfully perform a broad range of surgical interventions.
