Dr. Yusuf Acar

Dr. Yusuf Acar is a professional in the field of Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery. Born in Adana, Turkey in 1980, his initial education took place at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, where he acquired the title of Medical Doctor in 2005. His specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery was obtained at Dicle University, with an emphasis on reconstructive microsurgery.

In order to expand his medical knowledge, Dr. Acar participated in a rotation at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine's Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery from 2007 to 2008. Following the acquisition of his specialist title, he served at Atatürk State Hospital from 2011 to 2013. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association.

Dr. Acar contributed to the medical field with a publication in the Annals of Plastic Surgery journal in 2013. The study titled, "A Comparison of the Effects of Epidural and Spinal Anesthesia with Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury on the Rat Transverse Rectus Abdominus Musculocutaneous Flap," focused on ischemia-reperfusion injury.

After his service at Atatürk State Hospital, Dr. Acar worked at Mersin State Hospital and Mersin City Hospital from 2013 to 2020. His career led him to Ümraniye Education and Research Hospital in 2020 for a brief period. As of October 2020, Dr. Acar has been operating his private clinic. Across different healthcare settings, Dr. Acar has performed around 500 surgical procedures.

Dr. Acar is a family man, married with a daughter and a son. He enjoys tennis, hiking, swimming, reading, cycling, and riding a motorcycle during his free time.
