Dr. Yigit Tiftikcioglu

Dr. Yigit Titikcioglu earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. Following this, Dr. Yigit Titikcioglu specialized in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at Ankara Training and Research Hospital, completing this training in 2005. Subsequently, Dr. Titikcioglu was appointed as a specialist at SB Bolu Köroğlu State Hospital in the same year.

Opting to delve into academia, Dr. Titikcioglu joined Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in June 2006. By June 2011, he achieved the position of associate professor at the same institution. Beyond his primary specialty, Dr. Titikcioglu expanded his expertise by obtaining titles in Hand Surgery in 2011 and Oral, Facial and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2012.

By February 2017, Ege University recognized Dr. Titikcioglu's dedication to the field, and he was appointed as a professor within the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He continues to contribute to the university and maintains active participation in the medical community. Between 2016 and 2018, he was part of the board of directors of the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and is now the Aegean Region representative for the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association.

In terms of surgical interests, Dr. Titikcioglu focuses on reconstructive procedures such as breast repair after mastectomy. He also has a keen interest in aesthetic procedures, notably rhinoplasty and various breast aesthetic surgeries including augmentation, lift, and reduction.

Outside the professional sphere, Dr. Yigit Titikcioglu is a family man, married with two children.
