Dr. Volkan Tayfur

Born in Ankara in 1973, Dr. Volkan Tayfur hails from a family with a background in law. Completing his schooling at Bursa Anatolian High School in 1991, Dr. Tayfur secured a scholarship from the Turkish Cultural Foundation through the American Field Service, enabling him to spend a year in North Carolina, USA. This experience provided him with a fresh perspective that later influenced his professional approach.

Dr. Tayfur began his medical education at Hacettepe English Faculty of Medicine. There, he garnered knowledge on the intricacies of medicine and its art. His inclination led him to the Dokuz Eylül University Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Department, located in Izmir. This institution exposed him to extensive training in aesthetic surgery and patient care. His tenure in Izmir was also marked by extensive research on human anatomy, setting a foundation for his future endeavors.

Recognized for his skills, Dr. Tayfur obtained the necessary credentials to practice medicine both in Turkey and the United States. However, he chose to serve in Turkey. In 2005, Dr. Tayfur commenced his role as an Assistant Professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University, a tenure that spanned five years. Following this, he briefly associated with Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy before dedicating himself solely to plastic surgery in private practice.
