Dr. Vicente Paloma

Dr. Vicente Paloma has a breadth of experience in various aesthetic procedures, especially in the areas of rhinoplasty and breast surgery. He presently serves as the director of the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Team at Quironsalud Teknon Medical Center.

Completing his medical degree from the University of Navarra in 1987, Dr. Paloma pursued his residency program in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the same institution. Following his residency, he served as the head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Navarra University Hospital between 1994 and 1997. Later in 1997, he joined the teams at the Barcelona Hospital Clinic and the San Juan de Dios Hospital. Since December of the same year, Dr. Paloma has been affiliated with the Centro Médico Teknon.

Dr. Paloma's academic contributions to the medical community include book chapters on plastic and aesthetic surgery and articles in various national and international journals. 

Dr. Paloma's professional journey has taken him to different roles, including his time as a specialist in Plastic Surgery at the University Clinic of Navarra from 1987 to 1994. From November 1994 to October 1997, he led the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University Clinic of Navarre. Since November 1997, he has served as a medical specialist in Plastic Surgery at both the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona and San Juan de Dios Hospital. Additionally, from December 1997 onwards, he began his private practice in aesthetic surgery at Centro Médico Teknon.

In the academic sector, Dr. Paloma graduated in Medicine from the University of Navarra between 1981 and 1987. He specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Clínica Universitaria de Navarra from 1988 to 1992. He achieved his Doctorate of Medicine and Surgery in May 1993 and was awarded the Extraordinary PhD Award from the University of Navarra in 1994. He has also served as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Navarra. As an educator and researcher, he has authored several book chapters and published articles in various journals.

His engagements with institutions outside Spain include visits to the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, the University of Los Angeles in Los Angeles, the Mary Shiels Hospital in Dallas, the J Hopkins University in Washington, and the Baker & Stuzin Institute in Miami.
