Dr. Tugce Sumer

Dr. Tuğçe Sümer was born in Antalya on April 17, 1984. She began her academic journey at Namık Kemal Elementary School, later attending Metin Nuran Çakallıklı Anatolian High School. Recognized for her academic achievements, she continued her studies at Antalya College on a full scholarship. Beyond academia, Antalya College provided her with opportunities in sports, social activities, and exposure to foreign languages, with advanced English and proficient German among her linguistic accomplishments.

Dr. Sümer pursued her passion for dentistry at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, where she started her studies in 2002. Successfully bypassing the English Preparatory Exam, she transitioned directly into her first year. In 2007, after her graduation, her inclination towards the interplay between aesthetics and surgery propelled her to specialize in Periodontology. Dr. Sümer accomplished her PhD in 2013 with a research focus on 'Evaluation of the Efficacy of Photodynamic Therapy in Patients with Chronic Periodontitis'.

Always dedicated to broadening her expertise, Dr. Sümer participated in numerous domestic and international training programs and courses. These ventures allowed her to learn about novel surgical techniques from renowned figures in dentistry. Her commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements has seen her attend various congresses, courses, and seminars globally.
