Dr. Seda Deniz Kalkan

Dr. Seda Deniz Kalkan is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and General Dentist based in Çukurambar, Ankara, Turkey. Born in 1983 in Trabzon, she received her early education in Trabzon and Ankara, culminating in a degree from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2008. Dr. Kalkan furthered her expertise at the same university, specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Throughout her specialization and doctoral studies, Dr. Kalkan gained extensive training in dental implant surgery, botox applications, management of jaw cysts and pathologies, treatment of buried and semi-buried teeth, and other oral diseases. Her doctoral thesis focused on the "Comparison of C-reactive protein levels before and after the removal of semi-embedded 20-year-old teeth," showcasing her commitment to advancing dental knowledge.

Dr. Kalkan has participated in numerous national and international scientific congresses, enhancing her expertise in her field. Her career includes a decade-long tenure (2008-2018) as a dental partner and surgeon at a private polyclinic, after which she established her own dental clinic in 2018. In addition to her clinical practice, she has served as an expert witness in the field of jaw surgery in Ankara's courts.
