Dr. Resit Burak Kayan

Dr. Reşit Burak Kayan completed his medical studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Subsequently, he undertook a residency in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital and Bezm-i Alem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Among his professional activities, Dr. Kayan developed the "Smart Footprint and Smart Bed Sheet," for which he received international patents. This work was acknowledged by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association. 

Further extending his knowledge in the field, Dr. Kayan spent time at Taiwan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, practicing in the microsurgical field. After this experience, he introduced lymph node transplantation as part of lymphedema treatment in Turkey. 

Dr. Kayan has shared his knowledge at national and international congresses, discussing topics such as breast aesthetics, nose aesthetics, and microsurgery. He also participated in various certificate programs across Turkey, focusing on maxillofacial surgical procedures, laser and filling applications, and hair transplantation.

He carried out cleft lip and palate operations in African countries such as Sudan, Mauritania, and Yemen. His research in breast aesthetics, burns, microsurgery, and rhinoplasty is published in international journals.
