Dr. Petr Jan Vasek

Dr. Petr Jan Vasek is an internationally renowned plastic surgeon based in Prague, Czech Republic, and the head of the Formé Clinic. With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Vasek performs a vast array of surgeries, ranging from facial plastic procedures to surgical treatment of head and neck diseases.   

Dr. Vasek received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Palacký University Olomouc and later completed Grade I and Grade II specialty programs in otorhinolaryngology. He also holds an MMed degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Dr. P. J. Vasek received specialist training at top medical centers around the world, including the renowned Dr. Gaylon McCollough’s private clinic in Alabama, US, and a few other plastic clinics in New York. 

Having obtained full registration with the South African Medical and Dental Council (reg. no. MP 252980), Dr. P. J. Vasek worked for 15 years in South Africa, after his postgraduate studies, as a senior consultant and lecturer and the clinical head of the Division of Otorhinolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery of the University of Witwatersrand. He also served as a plastic surgeon at the Carstenhof Hospital in Midrand, South Africa.

Dr. Vasek is also fully licensed by the Ministry of Health and Medical Chamber of the Czech Republic (reg. no. 1110165142). He worked for 6 years at Asklepion Laser Centre in Prague after returning from South Africa. He was with the Glamour Mini-invasive Aesthetic Clinic in Praguie as a chief physician for a while and later joined Formé Clinic, of which he is currently the head.

Dr. Petr Jan Vasek is an active figure in plastic surgery and regularly attends conferences and workshops in this field. He was also featured in three television programs about his field of work aired on South African TV (SABC). Besides his native tongue, Dr. Vasek is fluent in English, German, and Russian.
