Dr. Ozan Seymen Sezen

Born in Ankara in 1970, Dr. Ozan Seymen Sezen completed his studies at Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 1993. Specializing in otorhinolaryngology, his areas of interest span rhinoplasty, facial plastic surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and snoring and sleep apnea surgery. In addition, Sezen has gained expertise in oral and throat cancer procedures, as well as surgeries related to the ear.

Over the years, he has supervised research theses, including studies evaluating the effects of the Uvulopalatal Flap in patients with obstructive sleep apnea and the impacts of the CPAP device on middle ear pressure.

In the realm of administration, Sezen served at the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic of S.B. Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital from 2001 to 2013. In 2013, he took a position at the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic of S.B. Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul.

Seeking international exposure, he associated with the University of Michigan's Department of Otolarynology from October 1998 to February 1999. Later, between October 2007 and February 2008, he collaborated with institutions such as Beeson Aesthetic Surgery, Meridian Plastic Surgeon's Clinic in Indiana, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Beyond his clinical endeavors, Sezen reviews for scientific journals and serves on the advisory board for the Kartal Training and Research Hospital Medical Journal.
