Dr. Osman Köse's medical career began with his graduation from Gülhane Military Medical Academy, Faculty of Military Medicine in 1986. He completed his specialization in dermatology at GATA Skin and Venereal Diseases Department, Ankara, between 1990 and 1993. His tenure at Çorlu Military Hospital's Dermatology and Venereology service spanned six years.

In 1999, Dr. Köse embarked on his academic journey as an Assistant Professor, achieving the rank of Associate Professor in 2002. He furthered his expertise with a year-long research stint at the University of London's Royal London Hospital in 2003-2004, focusing on epidermal cell cultures and Behçet's Disease, supported by a TÜBİTAK Postdoctoral Study Abroad Scholarship. His academic accomplishments led to his professorship in 2008.

Dr. Köse has a prolific publication record with 62 international and 52 domestic scientific studies. His expertise has been sought after in numerous conferences globally, with 20 presentations as an invited speaker and 40 national speeches. He has been a contributing member of the European Pediatric Dermatology Board (ESPD) since 2008 and served on the Turkish Dermatology Association (TDD) board from 2012 to 2018.

His clinical interests are diverse, with a particular focus on Cosmetic Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Skin Stem Cells, and Behçet's Disease. He has contributed to the medical community with numerous presentations at major international dermatology conferences and has authored a book on Pediatric Dermatology.
