Dr. Osman Halit Cam

Dr. Osman Halit Çam was born in 1982. After graduating from Gaziantep Science High School in 2000, he entered Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and received an M.D. degree in 2006. He took part in the highly competitive TUS exam (medical specialty entrance exam in Turkey) in the same year and successfully passed it to get approval to start a residency program at the ENT clinic of Istanbul Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital.

Dr. Çam attended many national and international meetings and presented numerous papers and actively participated in many domestic and foreign scientific studies during his residency program. 

After completing his otolaryngology program in 2012, Dr. Çam was appointed to Başkale State Hospital as an Ear Nose and Throat specialist for a 2-year compulsory national service. He then started working in the private sector including at the Başkent University Istanbul Hospital, where he has been working since 2016.

Dr. Çam was awarded the Confederation of the European Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (CEORL-HNS) certificate after passing the European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in Paris (written, 2017) and Vienna (oral, 2018). He worked at Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool, England, to exchange knowledge about rhinoplasty, chronic sinusitis, allergy, allergic rhinitis, and anterior skull surgeries. He became an associate professor in 2021 as a result of a scientific work review.
