Dr. Murat Songu

Born in 1976, Prof. Dr. Murat Songu embarked on his medical journey at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1994, following his graduation from İzmir Atatürk High School. He honed his expertise in Otorhinolaryngology with specialty training at Celal Bayar University, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors in the field.

Throughout his career, Dr. Songu has demonstrated a commitment to advancing his surgical skills and medical knowledge. Notably, his time in Bordeaux, France, in 2005 and 2006, was marked by significant surgical engagements. He performed a variety of procedures ranging from rhinologic and otologic surgeries to complex skull base surgery and cochlear implantations, working alongside renowned specialists like Dr. Guy Lacher and Prof. Vincent Darrouzet.

Prof. Dr. Songu's professional path led him to İzmir Dr. Behçet Uz Child Disease and Pediatric Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 2008 as an Ear Nose and Throat Diseases Specialist. His dedication and expertise facilitated his assignment to the ENT Clinic of İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital within the same year.
