Dr. Murat Gurel

Dr. Murat Gurel, born in Edremit, Balikesir in 1975, traces his family origins back to Ordu. His educational journey commenced in Konya for primary education and then progressed to Samsun, where he accomplished his secondary and high school studies.

Gurel further advanced his academic pursuit at Hacettepe University's Faculty of Medicine, where he studied from 1994 to 2000. Following his graduation, he embarked on his assistant training at Ankara Atatürk and Training and Research Hospital's Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery department in 2006.

His expertise expanded significantly in 2008-2009, as he engaged in a wide range of cases encompassing rhinoplasty, breast aesthetics and reconstruction, cleft lip and palate treatment, and various flap surgeries at Mustafa Kemal University's Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.

His pursuits between 2009 and 2012 saw him involved in several maxillo-facial surgery cases, culminating in his doctorate completion at Kırıkkale University's Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. Following his six-year doctorate period, Gurel was designated to Aksaray province for his weasel service. As the Responsible Physician for the Department of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, he performed an extensive array of aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries.

Apart from his professional commitments, Dr. Gurel harbors a deep affinity for nature sports. He is a CMAS 3 star certified diver and has shown interest in paragliding. During his time at Hacettepe University, Gurel also developed a passion for theater, featuring in the play "Good" at Ankara Şinasi Sahnesi State Theatre for a year. Besides, he enjoys engaging in touristic trips and culinary adventures alongside his family. Dr. Gurel is married and is a proud father of two children.
