Dr. Murat Diyarbakirlioglu

Dr. Murat Diyarbakırlıoğlu is an aesthetic and plastic surgeon based in Istanbul, Türkiye. His main focus of interest includes post-bariatric surgery (skin tightening procedures for those with skin sagging due to massive weight loss), body-contouring procedures, breast aesthetics, and rhinoplasty.

Dr. Diyarbakırlıoğlu did his M.D. degree at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. After that, he ranked 19th in the nationwide specialty program entrance exam (TUS) and entered Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine for a residency in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, which he completed in 2013. During his residency program, Dr. Diyarbakırlıoğlu went to Cleveland, the US to receive hands-on training on facial aesthetics and migraine surgery from the famous plastic surgeon Bahman Guyurun. He also went to Milan, Italy for a fellowship program in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery with Dr. Mario Rietjens at Istituto Europeo di Oncologia.

Dr. Diyarbakırlıoğlu successfully passed the two-step European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) examination held in Brussels in 2013 and 2014 to become an EBOPRAS-accredited specialist.

Having completed his medical education and training, Dr. Murat Diyarbakırlıoğlu began his practice by working at Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital in 2014 as his two-year compulsory service. He joined Medical Park Florya Hospital in Istanbul in 2017, where he served for two years and performed thousands of operations.

Dr. Diyarbakırlıoğlu opened his own private clinic, MD Aesthetics, in Bakirkoy, Istanbul in 2020.
