Dr. Michael Salivaras

Dr. Michael Salivaras is a Board Certified Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon with a primary focus on aesthetic plastic surgery. He holds memberships in several prestigious societies, including the Brazilian, European, Emirates & International Society of Plastic Surgery, the American & International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Alumni Association of Professor Ivo Pitanguy, and the Medical Society of the United Kingdom.

Educated at the National University of Athens, Dr. Salivaras received his medical degree in 1998. He further honed his expertise with a Post Graduate Certificate from the Pontifical Catholic University and Carlos Chagas Institute of Post Graduate Medical Studies in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2007, he earned the Specialist Title of Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon with honors at the Institute Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro.

In addition to his formal education, Dr. Salivaras expanded his knowledge through sub-specialty training in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and at the Southwestern Medical Centre at the University of Texas in Dallas.

Dr. Salivaras has shared his expertise on the popular TV makeover show “Joelle” on the MBC network for approximately 10 years. His appearances on the show highlighted his surgical and non-surgical skills and brought him into the public eye, performing procedures on celebrities, influencers, and public figures.

He has been a regular participant and the Scientific Chairman at the International Congress of Aesthetic Surgery, Antiaging Medicine, and Medical Spa. His dedication to academic research in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery has earned him scientific honors and recognition.
