Dr. Mehmet Erdogan

Dr. Mehmet Erdogan is a highly recognized hair transplant specialist and the co-founder of Smile Hair Clinic. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), FUE Europe, and the World FUE Institute.

Dr. Erdogan received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. He began his medical career at Acıbadem Health Group as a medical doctor and later moved to Medicana Health Group to pursue his ambitions in medical administration. Dr. Erdogan had successful years at Medicana Health Group, where he rose to senior positions such as Deputy Medical Director and the Director of the International Patients Department. At the same time, he underwent advanced training in hair transplantation and received his hair transplant certificate in 2013.

Having acquired considerable managerial and hair transplantation skills and a profound understanding of medical tourism, Dr. Mehmet Erdogan co-founded Smile Hair Clinic in 2018 with his friend and colleague, Dr. Gokay Bilgin. The clinic soon became a world-famous hair transplant center with a team of highly skilled hair transplant specialists and professional staff offering services to patients coming from all around the globe.

Dr. Erdogan’s perfectionism in aesthetics led him to constantly seek the most advanced technologies in hair transplantation. He and his team use sophisticated and precise micromotor devices and the Sapphire FUE hair transplantation technique to provide a delicate hair transplantation surgery with a high satisfaction rate. Dr. Erdogan listens to his favorite music during his operations. He is interested in playing golf and is an avid traveler. He says that he is a true culture explorer and getting to know untouched cultures is the most fascinating thing to him. That’s why he visited countries like Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, among other destinations. Dr. Mehmet Erdogan got married in 2021.
