Dr. Gediz Murat Serin

Dr. Gediz Murat Serin is a prominent otorhinolaryngologist and rhinoplasty surgeon practicing in Istanbul, Türkiye. He has over 18 years of experience and is currently working at Acibadem Maslak Hospital in Istanbul.

Dr. Gediz Murat Serin received his M.D. from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. He pursued a residency program in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) and head and neck surgery at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, which he completed in 2006. During the last year of his specialty program, Dr. Serin went to the United States for an observership at Harward Medical School. He also had training programs at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, USA, and the University of Insubria, Varese, Italy, in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

After serving his 2-year obligatory service as a medical doctor in 2006-2007, Dr. Gediz Murat Serin formally began his medical practice at Horasan State Hospital in Erzurum Province in 2007. A year later, he joined Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, which he left in 2009 to join Acıbadem Healthcare Group, Bakirkoy Hospital. Having had a successful 6-year period at Bakirkoy Hospital, Dr. Serin went to Bakirkoy Hospital, another subsidiary of Acıbadem Healthcare Group. He left the hospital in 2017 to join yet another Acıbadem Healthcare Group hospital, Maslak Hospital, where he has been serving patients until today.

Dr. Gediz Murat Serin carried out extensive research during his ENT education. He still conducts scientific studies in the field of otorhinolaryngology and has published many articles and book chapters in national and international journals. He also actively attends scientific meetings and follows the latest developments in his fields of interest.
