Dr. Faisal Ameer

Dr. Faisal Ameer, a plastic surgeon with a background in both art and medicine, was raised in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He began his educational journey at Tyndale Biscoe School and excelled academically at the Army School, Srinagar. His early interest in art, specifically in drawing, laid a foundation for his future specialization.

Dr. Ameer pursued his medical education at LLRM Medical College, Meerut, where he received several academic honors and completed his Master of Surgery in General Surgery. His decision to specialize in plastic surgery was influenced by his artistic interests, leading him to King George Medical University for his Plastic Surgery residency.

Following his residency, Dr. Ameer completed a hand and microvascular fellowship at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, and a cosmetic surgery fellowship. He began his teaching career as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Muzaffarnagar Medical College in 2009, and later served as an Associate Professor at LLRM Medical College.

Internationally, Dr. Ameer has been associated with medical institutions in Dubai, including Elite Style Polyclinic and Belhoul European Hospital. He currently serves as a Specialist Consultant in Plastic Surgery at Thumbay Hospital Ajman and Gulf Medical University, UAE.

Dr. Ameer's academic credentials include a Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons, achieved in 2020, and a Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, earned in 2014. He is proficient in English and Hindi.

His professional memberships include affiliations with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and other international plastic surgery societies. Additionally, he holds life memberships in several Indian surgical associations and is a registered member of the Medical Council of India and the Emirates Plastic Surgery Society.

Beyond his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Ameer contributes as a volunteer surgeon with LifeLine Express, focusing on providing cleft surgeries in remote areas.
