Dr. Erman Ak

Dr. Erman Ak is a highly skilled Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon specializing in facelift aesthetics and body contouring procedures. With a dedicated team, he has been providing exceptional medical treatments at his clinic located in Turkey.

Dr. Ak's journey in the medical field began with his primary and secondary education in Mersin, followed by attending Mersin Science High School for his high school education. He pursued his passion for medicine and graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2014, earning the title of Medical Doctor.

During his educational years, Dr. Ak actively participated in various congresses, broadening his knowledge and expertise. In 2018, he had the privilege of working with Ahmet Hoke for a duration of two months. The same year, he embarked on his specialization training in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul University Capa Medical Faculty. Throughout his assistantship, he was actively involved in a multitude of cases, including congenital hand anomalies and nerve transfers, gaining valuable experience in the department's focus on hand surgery. He achieved great success in various microsurgery cases as well.

In Istanbul, Dr. Ak performed numerous complex surgeries related to cleft lip and palate, congenital anomalies, and maxillofacial procedures at a distinguished maxillofacial surgery center. These challenging surgeries played a crucial role in shaping Dr. Erman Ak's expertise in facial surgery. In 2018, he further enhanced his skills through advanced microsurgery training under the guidance of Prof Dr Fu Chan Wei at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan.

Dr. Ak's dedication to his profession is evident through his contributions to the field. He delivered an oral presentation at the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery congress in 2019, where he shared his insights and experiences regarding "LOWER flaps." Furthermore, he completed his specialization by presenting his thesis titled "Investigating the Morbidity of the Donor Area After Latissimus Dorsi Muscle Flaps," earning the prestigious title of Plastic Surgeon Specialist.

Following his specialization, Dr. Ak played a pivotal role in establishing the Plastic Surgery department at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura Hospital, where he served as the department head for an extended period. During his tenure, he successfully performed the hospital's first foot and jaw bone transplant operation. In 2022, he further expanded his knowledge and skills in facial and breast aesthetics through an intensive three-month ISAPS fellowship with Prof Dr Giovanni Botti and Chiara Bottiile at Villa Bella Clinic in Italy.

Doctor Ak personally attends to his patients at his clinic in Nisantasi, ensuring the highest level of care and attention. In addition to his specialized areas of expertise, he actively participates in numerous professional and social activities, contributing to the advancement of the field.
