Dr. Erkan Tarhan

Dr. Erkan Tarhan, born in Ankara in 1971, embarked on his medical journey at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 1995. His post-graduate specialization in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) was completed at the Ankara Training and Research Hospital under the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health in 1999.

In 2001, Dr. Tarhan enhanced his role in the medical field by joining Ankara Hospital’s ENT Clinic as a chief assistant and trainer. This position allowed him to amass a wealth of surgical experience. His pursuit of academic excellence led him to Başkent University Faculty of Medicine's ENT Department in 2003, where he contributed significantly as a lecturer, assistant professor, and later, associate professor, until 2008. 

Dr. Tarhan's expertise was recognized nationally in 2006 when he achieved the title of associate professor in ENT science, validated by the Interuniversity Board of the Republic of Turkey Higher Education Institution. In 2010, Dr. Tarhan joined the Near East University Faculty of Medicine in Nicosia, Cyprus, as part of their ENT Department, where he was honored with the title of 'Professor'.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tarhan has been instrumental in shaping future medical professionals. Since 2003, he has been actively involved in delivering both theoretical and practical medical courses at various universities. His contributions to medical education also include training numerous ENT assistants since 2001.
