Dr. Ebru Sen

Dr. Ebru Sen, born in 1984 in Adana, Turkey, is a specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Her education began at Sabancı Primary School in Adana, followed by Kahramanmaraş Süleyman Demirel Science High School. She enrolled in Istanbul Medical Faculty in 2002, where she developed an interest in surgical disciplines, particularly in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Dr. Sen's professional training in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery commenced in 2008 at Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital. Here, she gained experience in various aspects of the field including microsurgery, aesthetic operations, reconstruction, and treatment of maxillofacial injuries, skin malignancies, and burn patients. She was involved in over 350 microsurgical operations and underwent further training in microsurgery at the University of Schlieren in Zurich in 2012.

In 2014, Dr. Sen joined Kars Kafkas University as a specialist doctor, contributing to the establishment of the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Her role also encompassed serving as an assistant chief physician and later as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Sen's additional training includes language enhancement in the Republic of South Africa (2015-2016), as well as specialized training in mixed rhinoplasty and postbariatric surgery in Brazil in 2017. Her academic work, particularly her specialty thesis and participation in research projects, has focused on areas such as tendon healing, microvascular anastomosis, and the viability of dermal fat grafts.

An active member of professional bodies like the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, UNICEF, and Greenpeace, Dr. Sen has contributed to various journals, documenting her research and findings in the field.

Dr. Ebru Sen currently practices in her private clinic in Nişantaşı, offering services in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery.
