Dr. Cihan Sahin

Dr. Cihan Sahin is a seasoned practitioner in plastic surgery. Born in Eskişehir, Turkey, in 1979, Dr. Sahin embarked on his medical education at the Gulhane Military Medical Faculty, culminating in his graduation in 2003. Pursuing a deep interest in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, he completed his specialty training at GATA Haydarpasa Training Hospital in 2011.

Throughout his residency, Dr. Sahin was actively involved in several scientific studies. A collaborative effort to devise a novel hand surgery technique saw him and his team honored with the first prize at the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Association Meeting in 2013. This achievement was preceded by his garnering second prizes in the expert and assistant research competitions in 2011, recognized by the same association.

Dr. Sahin's credentials include his certification from the Turkish Board of Plastic Surgery, earned in 2011. The year 2017 marked his advancement to an associate professorship. A strong contributor to scholarly dialogue, Dr. Sahin has 52 international publications, 37 international conference reports, and 102 national conference presentations to his name.

A member of several professional societies, Dr. Sahin is affiliated with the Turkish Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the Turkish Society for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, and the Emergency Hand Care and Microsurgery Society. He also lends his expertise as a consultant for the journal of Archives and Clinical and Experimental Surgery.

Since May 2018, Dr. Sahin has been delivering his medical services at his private clinic in Istanbul.
