Dr. Basar Kaya

Dr. Basar Kaya, born in Adana in 1981, embarked on his medical journey at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2004. His pursuit of expertise in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery led him to complete his specialization at the same institution in 2011. During this time, Dr. Kaya also contributed to the academic community as a Research Assistant, enhancing his practical skills and theoretical knowledge in his chosen field.

After completing his specialization, Dr. Kaya served as a Specialist Doctor in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic at Dr. İ. Şevki Atasagun State Hospital from 2011 to 2013. This period was marked by significant practical experience and development. His career then took a turn towards academia, where from 2013 to 2017, he held the position of Assistant Professor at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, in the same department. Here, Dr. Kaya was not only involved in surgical practices but also in guiding the next generation of plastic surgeons.
