Dr. Baris Yigit

Dr. Baris Yigit was born in 1979 in Antakya. He commenced his formal education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in Izmir in 1996 and completed it in 2003. During his last year at Ege University, Dr. Yigit conducted research in Neuroscience at Louisiana State University Health Science Center.

In 2004, Dr. Yigit began his residency in Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty (Çapa), which he concluded in 2010. 

Dr. Yigit's professional trajectory took him to Mardin State Hospital in 2010. By 2013, he joined Duzce University Faculty of Medicine Department of Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery as an Asst. Prof., and by 2014, he assumed the role of Chief of the Department. His association with the institution also saw him leading the 22nd Basic Microsurgery course for the Association of Reconstructive Microsurgery at Düzce University.

Between 2004 and 2016, he shared his research findings at several national and international congresses and published in multiple scientific journals.

In 2019, he founded the Baris Yigit Clinic in Fethiye, where various medical procedures are performed.
