Dr. Antoine Ghanem

Dr. Antoine Ghanem is a general surgical and cosmetic dermatologist with over 10 years of experience. He specializes in treating both adult and pediatric skin diseases and is proficient in a range of cosmetology procedures, including Botox, fillers, mesotherapy, PRP, and laser treatments. Additionally, he has expertise in managing conditions such as psoriasis and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Dr. Ghanem is committed to continuous medical education, serving as a clinical instructor of dermatology for residents and interns at Hôtel-Dieu de France Hospital in Lebanon and as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Beirut, Lebanon. Since 2013, he has been volunteering as a physician at MARSA Sexual Health Center in Lebanon to treat and promote awareness of sexually transmitted diseases.

Dr. Ghanem obtained his medical degree and his diploma in dermatology and venereology from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Hôtel-Dieu de France University Hospital. He also holds a diploma in internal medicine and a master's degree in health science, specializing in genetic research. Further training in pediatric dermatology was completed at Faculté Sophia Antipolis in Nice, France, where he earned a university diploma in that field.

He is an active member of several national and international medical associations and dermatological societies and has presented at multiple professional meetings. Dr. Ghanem's research has been published in various scientific journals, covering topics such as the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections, psoriatic arthritis, and dermatological conditions linked to genetic anomalies. His work includes studies on the prevalence of STIs among different populations in Lebanon, screening methods for psoriatic arthritis, and case reports on rare dermatological conditions.
