Dr. Ali Riza Oreroglu

Dr. Ali Riza Oreroglu was born in 1981 and spent his formative years attending an international school. His journey into medicine was influenced by a physician who became a role model for him. At the age of 19, Dr. Oreroglu relocated from Tehran to Ankara, Turkey to pursue his medical studies at Ankara University.

Having received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2006, Dr. Oreroglu passed the highly competitive Medical Specialty Exam (Tıpta Uzmanlık Sınavı; TUS) and started his residency in aesthetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery at Istanbul Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital. He later studied microsurgery at Marmara University laboratory.

Dr. Ali Riza Oreroglu went to the U.S. in 2009 for an observership program at PACES Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia where he underwent training in facial aesthetics, facial stretching, and breast aesthetics with Dr. Foad Nahai. 

In 2011, at the 33rd National Congress of the Society of Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons, Dr. Oreroglu won the Second Prize in the clinical category of Assistant Proclamation Competition. From 2012 to 2014 he completed his mandatory public service at Dr. Ilhan Özdemir State Hospital in Giresun. During that time, he also received his board certification from the European Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery and his Turkish Plastic Surgery Certificate of Proficiency, which he renewed in 2016. 

Later, he completed fellowship programs in facelift and neck lift, facial rejuvenation, aesthetic rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring with prominent surgeons in New York, California, and Michigan. Dr. Oreroglu also has served at Acıbadem Fulya Hospital and Esteworld Altunizade Plastic Surgery Complex in Istanbul.

Dr. Alireza Oreroglu is different from many plastic surgeons in that he genuinely puts the safety of patients before profits and career interests and that was the main reason he decided to open his own clinic. According to Dr. Oreroglu, he used to work in a hospital where the mentality of the owners was one of greed and acquisitiveness and by ignoring the medical ethics they tried to persuade everybody referring to the hospital into having surgery, no matter whether they were good candidates for that procedure or not.

This made Dr. Oreroglu quickly change his path and start his own clinic. “Now that I have my own clinic, there is no other authority superior to me in this system I’m working in to force me to perform or not perform a surgery for someone,” he says.

Dr. Ali Riza Oreroglu Aesthetic Clinic is based in Nişantaşı, an upscale neighborhood on the European side of Istanbul, offering different types of facial and body contouring cosmetic procedures. The serene ambiance and the elegant decor of Dr. Oreroglu clinic is a unique combination of art and music. It is tastefully decorated with fine paintings, Persian calligraphy tableaux, and small statues that mirror Dr. Oreroglu’s love of art and his artistic family background.  

The atmosphere of Dr. Oreroglu’s clinic doesn’t fit the regular stereotype of typical clinics that only bring to mind medical equipment and outfits. He has a piano in his clinic, which he sometimes plays to relax and soothe his soul.
