Dr. Adrian Dragu

Prof. Dr. Adrian Dragu is a renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Dresden, Germany and head of the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery at the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital. He performs a wide spectrum of aesthetic plastic and reconstructive surgeries with a focus on hand surgery and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Dragu was born in 1973 in Ansbach, Germany. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Münster, Germany and completed a residency program in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University Medical Center Freiburg of the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. He also completed a master of health administration at the Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg, Germany.

With over 23 years of experience in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Adrian Dragu has a wealth of experience, performing thousands of emergency and elective procedures at several medical centers including St. George Clinic in Leipzig and the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery of the Dresden University Hospital, where he leads a team of senior physicians and interns including Dr. Olimpiu Bota, Dr. Feras Taqatqeh, Dr. Dominika Teather, Dr. Florian Bönke, Dr. Kevin Bienger, and Dr. Oana Grigorescu.

Prof. Dr. Deagu is an active researcher as well. He has so far published over 100 scientific papers and authored several book chapters.
