Dr. Abdulsamet Kundakcioglu

Born in Kastamonu in 1988, Dr. Abdulsamet Kundakcioglu received his education from Istanbul University's Faculty of Dentistry. On completing his studies, he pursued further specialization in the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery of the same institution. By 2018, Dr. Kundakcioglu had successfully defended his doctoral thesis, which explored the stabilization of Le Fort I Osteotomy in open-bite cases through finite element analysis in relation to different plaque designs and surgical techniques.

Today, Dr. Kundakcioglu serves as a specialist in Maxillofacial Surgery in Istanbul University's Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a respected academician within the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul University.

His professional background is vast and varied, covering specific interests like Orthognathic Surgery, Custom Implants, Dental Implant Surgery, Oral Surgery, and Maxillofacial Traumas. Over the years, Dr. Kundakcioglu has contributed to the dental and surgical community with a series of scientific publications, presentations, and participations in courses and symposiums in various parts of the world.
