Dr. Abdulkadir Goksel

Dr. Abdulkadir Goksel originates from Gaziantep, where his family has been involved in the medical profession for three generations. He graduated from Istanbul Medical Faculty and went on to specialize in Ear-Nose-Throat and Head-Neck Surgery at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital.

Throughout his career, Goksel demonstrated a keen interest in facial plastic surgery. He expanded his expertise in areas like functional and aesthetic nasal surgery, interacting with renowned experts in these fields.

He actively participated in international facial plastic surgery conferences across continents, such as Asia and America, sharing insights on aesthetic nasal surgery, nasal tip aesthetics, and revision nasal surgery.

Annually, medical professionals from diverse countries visit Goksel to gain insights into specific surgical practices.

Beyond his personal accomplishments, Goksel played a role in organizing scientific meetings in Istanbul, such as the Rhinoplasty Istanbul Workshop and Structure Preservation Rhinoplasty.

His medical journey includes internships in England and Spain. Additionally, he collaborated with Giovanni Botti and Prof.Dr.Howard L. Levine, and pursued research at institutions including the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Cleveland Case Western Reverse University.

Currently, Goksel extends his services at the RinoIstanbul Bagdat Street Clinic, which he established.

• Served as chair and co-chair of the Structure Preservation Rhinoplasty meetings held in Istanbul.
• Provided a limited number of nose surgeons with a “Live Surgery with Dr. Göksel” course every six months.
• Worked with Giovanni Botti at the Center of Anatomy and Cell Biology of Vienna Medical University in Austria.
• Received 'Balloon Synoplasty' training from Prof.Dr.Howard L. Levine, President of the American Rhinology Society, in Chicago.
• Conducted studies on facial plastic surgery and research on cadavers at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
• Worked with Prof.Dr.Bahman Guyuron at Cleveland Case Western Reverse University on nasal aesthetics and migraine surgery surgeries.
• Served on the boards of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association.
• Provides service to patients at RinoIstanbul Bagdat Street Clinic, which he founded.
