Using Medical Lenses and Undergoing Blepharoplasty

I use medical lenses and I'm considering having blepharoplasty. Is there any problem with that? Can I continue using them after the surgery?

Hello, Yes, after a blepharoplasty procedure, you can use medical lenses, and there is no obstruction to that. Make sure to follow post-operative care instructions and consult with your surgeon on when it would be safe to resume using them based on how your recovery progresses.

Hi! It's important to consult with your surgeon about this, but typically, patients can resume wearing lenses after the initial recovery period. Just make sure to follow your surgeon's guidance on when to start wearing them again to avoid any irritation or complications during the healing process.

I've been through a similar situation! After my blepharoplasty, I waited for about a week before I started using my medical lenses again, just to ensure my eyes were fully healed and there was no risk of infection. Always best to be cautious and consult with your healthcare provider first.

Yes, you can continue using medical lenses after blepharoplasty, but you should give your eyes ample time to heal first. There’s usually no rush, so taking a short break from lenses to ensure complete healing can be a wise decision. Check with your doctor for the best advice on when to resume their use.

Hello! Generally, there shouldn't be a problem with using medical lenses after a blepharoplasty. However, you might need to wait a few days or until your doctor advises it's safe to use them again, as your eyes may be a bit sensitive immediately following the surgery.

Please help, I'm really stressed out about this. It’s been two months since I had upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Now, I feel like my eyes are uneven. Is this even possible, or am I just imagining things? No one has mentioned it because I always wear eyeliner, so it’s not very noticeable.

Hello, do you feel any pain during blepharoplasty? I heard it's done under local anesthesia without general anesthesia, and I want to know if you don't feel any pain at all?

I had blepharoplasty 6 days ago, but I can still see the stitch marks. How long does it usually take for these stitch marks from blepharoplasty to heal?

In our family, we tend to have droopy eyelids due to genetics. I'm 47 years old now and starting to notice some signs of aging. When I check myself in the mirror, I can't see half of my pupils, and it seems like my eyes are closing prematurely. I've been thinking about eyelid surgery, but I have co
