Can I Manage My Own Tasks After Surgery?

Hello. I have a young child and I'm planning to undergo blepharoplasty. Can I manage my daily tasks by myself afterward, or will I definitely need someone by my side?

Hello,
Yes, there is no need to worry, and there is no special convalescence required. You should be able to comfortably perform your tasks by yourself the day after the surgery.

Hi there! Generally, you should be able to get back to your routine tasks pretty quickly after blepharoplasty. However, you should avoid lifting heavy objects, including picking up young children, for at least a week or so. If possible, it would be wise to have someone assist you with child care and other demanding tasks during your recovery period.

That's a good question! While many people feel fine to handle personal tasks the day after surgery, having support, especially when caring for a young child, is advisable. You might experience some swelling or discomfort that could make it challenging to keep up with a child's energy and needs. It's best to arrange for some help just to be on the safe side

Hello! In my experience, you'll need some downtime immediately after the surgery, but most people are able to resume normal, non-strenuous activities within 24 to 48 hours. It's important to listen to your body; if you feel like you need help, don't hesitate to ask for it. Make sure you have someone who can assist with your child in the first few days post-surgery.

Hi! It's great that you're planning ahead. Generally, after blepharoplasty, you should be able to perform light tasks within a day or two, but it’s best to avoid any strenuous activities that could strain your eyes or affect healing. However, having someone around to help, especially in the first few days, can be very beneficial as you might feel tired and need to rest more frequently

Please help, I'm really stressed out about this. It’s been two months since I had upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Now, I feel like my eyes are uneven. Is this even possible, or am I just imagining things? No one has mentioned it because I always wear eyeliner, so it’s not very noticeable.

Hello, do you feel any pain during blepharoplasty? I heard it's done under local anesthesia without general anesthesia, and I want to know if you don't feel any pain at all?

Good day,I have a question. I'm interested in getting blepharoplasty but am wondering if it requires general anesthesia? I really want to undergo the procedure, but I'm scared of being put under.

I had blepharoplasty 6 days ago, but I can still see the stitch marks. How long does it usually take for these stitch marks from blepharoplasty to heal?

I use medical lenses and I'm considering having blepharoplasty. Is there any problem with that? Can I continue using them after the surgery?

In our family, we tend to have droopy eyelids due to genetics. I'm 47 years old now and starting to notice some signs of aging. When I check myself in the mirror, I can't see half of my pupils, and it seems like my eyes are closing prematurely. I've been thinking about eyelid surgery, but I have co
