Can a rhinoplasty procedure address and eliminate the unappealing, squared-off contours of the nose's sides?
I realize that manipulating the frontal cartilage can pose challenges, but I have a specific idea of the nose I'd like to achieve. I'm seeking a subtle change to eliminate the less flattering contours without altering the width of my nostrils. Are there any local surgeons experienced in performing this type of rhinoplasty? Could you also clarify whether this would require an open or closed rhinoplasty, and what the expected timeline for seeing results might be?
Hello, Thank you for your question.Boxy tip appearance can be treated by closed rhinoplasty surgeries. It is required to refine the middle and upper part of the nose accordingly tip refining. It will give better results. Closed rhinoplasty can be used in these situations. it will take about a year for the nose to reach final shape .But the nose gradually takes its shape on third or forth week of the post op.
