Dr. Zerrin Baysal

Dr. Baysal acquired her medical education in 1994, graduating from Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. She pursued specialized training, deepening her expertise in dermatology and skin conditions, to ensure a proficient understanding and management of diverse skin-related issues.

In 2007, Dr. Baysal affiliated herself with Memorial Etiler Medical Center in Istanbul, Turkey, where she practices as a specialist in dermatology. Prior to this, she contributed her expertise to the Haseki State Hospital in 2000 and the State Hospital Diyarbakir in 1999, extending her skill set and gathering experiences across different medical environments and patient demographics.

Scientifically, Dr. Baysal has engaged in notable research activities and presentations. Some of her research includes exploring the cutaneous manifestations associated with pulmonary tuberculosis and the incidence of specific skin pathologies. Dr. Baysal has also conducted studies concerning the prevalence of skin conditions in patients with organ tuberculosis and has taken a keen interest in specific dermatological features, notably through her involvement with the Turkderm organization. Her research in unique cases such as Prolidase enzyme deficiency and Acanthosis nigricans accompanying pemphigus vulgaris has added valuable insights to the dermatological community.
