Dr. Yasin Kursad Varsak

Dr. Yasin Kursad Varsak was born in Kırıkkale in 1985 and completed his early schooling there. He pursued medicine at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine starting in 2003. His academic journey took him to the United States in 2007 as part of a student exchange program.

In 2009, Varsak enrolled at Meram Medical Faculty in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. In 2012, he collaborated with Eren Berber, MD, at the Cleveland Clinic's Department of Endocrine Surgery in Ohio on Robotic Surgery. That year, he also worked as a visiting scholar at Stanford University in California, focusing on Otolaryngology, Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery.

By 2013, he was associated with a project that received support from The Council of Higher Education and The Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation Australia, allowing him to join Stanford's otology clinic as a Research Fellow.

After completing his residency in 2014, he passed the United States Medical License Exam the following year. He also became a board-certified Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon in Turkey. His professional commitment took him to Konya Numune Hospital from 2014 to 2016.

Furthering his specialization, Varsak graduated from the Otology Neurotology School in 2016 and the Facial Plastic Surgery school in 2017. Since 2018, he has been involved in the realm of Facial Plastic Surgery. Varsak established the Istanbul Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic in 2019. He also practices surgeries at Private Anadolu Medical Center, affiliated with John Hopkins Medicine.

Apart from his medical endeavors, Varsak has interests in visual arts, particularly portrait drawings and ceramic work.
