Dr. Serkan Balta

Dr. Serkan Balta, born in 1981 in Krefeld, Germany, acquired his education primarily in Denizli, before obtaining his medical degree from the Antalya Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. His early professional years saw him embark on Radiology training at the Kartal Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital from 2005 to 2007.

Upon leaving his Radiology specialization in 2007, Dr. Balta shifted his focus to Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Trakya University. Here, he completed his residency training in 2012, having presented a thesis titled "Reducing Cartilage Graft Resorption with Doxycycline Use" to Prof. Erol Benlier.

During his specialization, Dr. Balta also spent time in 2011 at the clinic of Bahman Guyuron at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, USA, a place renowned for plastic surgery and rhinoplasty. 

Returning to Trakya University in 2013, he moved into the educational side of the medical profession. He undertook the roles of both specialist and Assistant Professor, guiding students and assistants. His responsibilities also encompassed the performance of microsurgery and aesthetic operations. Furthermore, Dr. Balta was a contributor to various publications, seminars, and congresses, and served as the translation editor of three books in the field of Plastic Surgery.

Since 2016, Dr. Balta has operated his own private practice. He has certification as an International doctor, with acknowledgments in multiple European countries, including the United States, England, and Germany. His credentials include the European Board Certified Plastic Surgeon title. 

Based in Bakirkoy, Turkey, Dr. Balta focuses his practice on plastic and aesthetic surgery. The array of services he provides includes rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, Botox, French Lift, face and lip filler, hair mesotherapy, laser lipolysis, and liposuction.

In addition to his medical practice, doctor Balta established Elit International Clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. This clinic offers a wider range of services, including dental treatments and hair transplants.
