Dr. Serhan Tuncer

Dr. Serhan Tuncer, born in 1974 in Ankara, completed his medical degree at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. Following graduation, he pursued specialized training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, concluding in 2005.

In 2004-2005, Dr. Tuncer enhanced his professional skills in the United States. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Providence Hospitals and Medical Centers, Institute for Craniofacial and Reconstructive Surgery in Michigan, and at the University of Wisconsin – Medical School Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hand Surgery.

Dr. Tuncer served as a Plastic Surgery Specialist at Ankara Güven Hospital starting in 2006. That same year, he also began his tenure as a lecturer at Gazi University. His service at Haydarpaşa Gülhane Military Medical Academy spanned from 2007-2008. He was appointed Assistant Professor in 2008 and Associate Professor in 2012. Dr. Tuncer successfully passed the European Board exam, earning the title of "European Board Certified".

His experience includes working as a clinical fellow in Belgium, focusing on breast reconstruction and reconstructive microsurgery. He was a part-time member of the staff at Ankara Medicana International Hospital's Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery from 2018-2021. In 2021, he left his position at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine to establish his own clinic.
