Dr. Senol Polat

Dr. Şenol Polat commenced his medical education at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. His specialization in Otorhinolaryngology began at the same institution in 1998, culminating in 2003 with the completion of his expertise in this field. In 2005, Dr. Polat joined the Acıbadem Healthcare Group at Kozyatağı Hospital, marking the start of a significant phase in his career.

Elevating his academic credentials, Dr. Polat achieved the status of Associate Professor in 2012, followed by his advancement to Professor in 2017. Throughout his career, Dr. Polat has been actively engaged in research and clinical practice, particularly in the area of sleep apnea treatment and surgery. His dedication to this specialty led him to collaborate with Prof. Dr. Michael Friedman at the Masonic Medical Center in Illinois in 2010, where he gained valuable clinical insights.

Dr. Polat's scholarly contributions are noteworthy, with publications in 29 international and 15 national medical journals. Since 2017, he has been a part of the medical team at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital. In his practice, Dr. Polat collaborates closely with the Adult and Pediatric Neurosurgery Departments in skull base surgery operations, bringing his expertise in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) to these complex procedures.
