Dr. Semih Karaketir

Dr. Semih Karaketir completed his medical education at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 2008 to 2014. Subsequently, he underwent specialized training at Istanbul Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital, formerly known as Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, from 2015 to 2019.

Upon completion of his medical education in 2014, Dr. Karaketir served as a General Practitioner at the Community Health Center in Ağrı. Later, he joined Istanbul Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital, where he contributed to the Ear Nose and Throat Diseases Clinic as a Research Assistant from 2015 to 2019. Subsequently, he was associated with the Muş Bulanık State Hospital in 2019, specializing in Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases. In 2022, Dr. Karaketir became a part of the team at Istanbul Avcılar Murat Kölük State Hospital.

Dr. Karaketir has been actively involved in medical research. He has contributed to a number of scientific publications across journals like Ann Otol Rhinol Laryngol, Eur Arch Otorhinolaryngol, Physiother Theory Pract, Medical Bulletin of Haseki, Am J Otolaryngol, J Laryngol Otol, and many others. His research primarily revolves around topics related to otolaryngology, including but not limited to Allergic Rhinitis, Otitis Media, Vestibular Disorders, and Surgical Procedures.
