Dr. Omer Faruk Kocak

Born in 1983, Dr. Omer Faruk Kocak is an accomplished figure in the medical field with a keen focus on plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. His academic journey began at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University's Faculty of Medicine, from where he graduated in 2007. Following his graduation, he pursued internships in diverse specializations such as cardiovascular surgery in Ankara and gynecology and obstetrics in Samsun.

Dr. Kocak's quest for specialization led him back to Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, where he immersed himself in the study of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, earning his specialization in 2014. Prior to this, he undertook advanced training in a microsurgery laboratory in Switzerland, further expanding his knowledge and skills.

Over the years, Dr. Kocak has shared his expertise through the publication of 45 articles in various national and international peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to his field. His career has also seen him work at several prestigious institutions, including the University of Yozongo's Faculty of Medicine (2009-2014), Göztepe Hospital for Training and Scientific Research (2011), and the German University of Zurich (2014).

Dr. Kocak served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Yozongo's Department of Medicine, specifically in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery division from 2015 to 2020. Furthermore, in 2017, he took up a role at the Turkish Scientific and Educational Research Specialist Hospital, where he stayed till 2018. As of 2020, Dr. Kocak has been practicing as a specialist at Nisa Medical Hospital.

In addition to his practical experience, Dr. Kocak holds a degree in Human Medicine from the University of Yogonju, awarded in 2007, and a Master's degree in plastic and reconstructive surgery from Yozongo University, obtained in 2014.
