Dr. Nezih Karaca

Dr. Nezih Karaca, esteemed for his expertise in Dermatology, completed his medical studies at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. He launched his career at the Dermatology Department of Ege University Faculty of Medicine, fostering a particular interest in Dermatological Surgery while working with Prof. Dr. Tuğrul DERELİ.

A critical phase in his career was his collaboration with Prof. Dr. Fezal ÖZDEMİR, a globally recognized expert in dermoscopy. For two years, he was a significant part of the Malignant Melanoma Council, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients from across the Aegean Region.

his experience expanded as he worked alongside Dr. İdil ÜNAL and Dr. İlgen ERTAM, learning a range of cosmetology treatments. He also spent time in the Allergy Unit with Prof. Dr. Sibel ALPER, gaining practical experience in allergy testing.

Between 2009 and 2012, he held the position of Chief at the Dermatology Clinic of Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital. Meanwhile, he also completed a fellowship in Dermatological Surgery at The University of Sydney under the mentorship of Professor Wolfgang WHENINGER.

In 2013, he had the opportunity to attend a fellowship course at Miami University Medical Faculty's Department of Dermatology in the USA, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Leslie BAUMANN. This experience enriched his skillset to include Mohs Surgery, Cosmetic Initiatives, and Laser applications. In the same year, Dr. Karaca translated and introduced Leslie Baumann's best-selling book, "Skin Type Solutions," to a Turkish audience.

Today, Dr. Karaca serves as the Medical Director and Dermatology specialist at the Nişantaşı Sculpture Polyclinic, continuing to enrich the field with his profound knowledge and expertise.
