About Doctor Necdet Derici

Dr. Necdet Derici was born in Beyşehir, Konya in March 1971. His early education took place in Beyşehir, and he later pursued his secondary and high school studies in Konya, Ereğli. Upon completion, he enrolled at the Istanbul University's Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, earning his degree in 1995.

Following his graduation, Dr. Derici served at the Istanbul Training and Research Hospital from 1995 to 1999 in an assistant doctor capacity. In the year 2000, he advanced to the role of a General Surgery Specialist at the same institution, where he provided his expertise until 2009. 

In addition to his medical responsibilities in Turkey, Dr. Derici undertook international engagements. In 2015, he collaborated with Dr. Bruno Dillemans in Belgium, concentrating on Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass techniques. Later, in 2017, he enhanced his expertise in Obesity Surgery and Laparoscopy by working alongside Dr. Phillipe Topart and Dr. Guillaume Becouarn.

On a personal note, Dr. Derici is a family man with a spouse and three children.
