Dr. Mete Aksu

Dr. Mete Aksu, born in 1973 in Çorum, is a reconstructive cosmetic surgeon. He completed his high school education at Atatürk High School, graduating in the 57th term, and proceeded to earn his medical degree from Gülhane Military Medical Academy.

Following his graduation, Dr. Aksu served in the Naval Forces Command, holding positions as lieutenant and first lieutenant on the frigate ships TCG Anıttepe and TCG Turgut Reis. He then furthered his medical expertise at the Ankara Gata Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic.

In collaboration with Bilkent University's Genetics and Molecular Biology Department, Dr. Aksu completed a specialization project. His thesis explored the effects of keratinocyte culture modified for VEGF, EGF, and FGF genes on chronic wound healing in rats, contributing to the field's understanding of wound healing processes.

Dr. Aksu concluded his service at the Kasımpaşa Naval Hospital as a Lieutenant Colonel and currently practices at his own clinic.
