Dr. Memet Yazar

Born in Kars in 1975, Dr. Memet Yazar pursued a broad educational path that ultimately led him to the field of plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery. His foundational education began at Kars Industrial Vocational High School's Electronics Department. Later, he advanced to Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 1993.

Dr. Yazar's skills and aptitude were evident early on. He achieved placement in Istanbul's esteemed Medicine Faculty for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, his primary choice during the TUS (Medical Specialization Examination). It was here that he began his specialized training.

During his tenure as an assistant, Dr. Memet Yazar developed a technique in prominent ear surgery that garnered recognition by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association. This innovation was also acknowledged in a notable international medical journal. Further honing his expertise, Dr. Yazar successfully completed a Microsurgery course in Zurich, Switzerland. 

Following his training, Dr. Yazar served at Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital Plastic Surgery Clinic for an impressive nine years. He went to London St George's Hospital in England for a duration of six months. By 2018, he earned the title of Associate Professor. 

Outside the surgical theater, Dr. Yazar has a knack for digital artistry. Proficient in programs like Photoshop and 3DMax, he has contributed more than 100 medical illustrations in literature on hand surgery, microsurgery, reconstructive, and aesthetic topics. His illustrations are parts of several medical articles and conference presentations.
