Dr. Hakan Gence

Dr. Hakan Gence is a medical professional hailing from Bulgaria, born in 1982. His family relocated to Izmir, Turkey in 1989, where he completed his high school education in 2001. His academic journey continued at Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree in 2008.

Dr. Gence's post-graduate education led him to Ankara, where he spent the years 2003 to 2009 as a research assistant in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. His successful tenure led him to Kars State Hospital, where he worked from 2009 to 2011. During this period, he performed over 1000 operations fulfilling his compulsory service.

In 2011, Dr. Gence joined the team at Istanbul Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital. By 2012, he had become a part of the Esteworld Health Group. His extensive professional journey includes numerous successful surgeries as an Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatologist across various hospitals in Istanbul. This work, coupled with regular participation in national and international congresses, keeps him updated with the latest developments in his field. 

Recognizing a need for a more personalized approach to patient care, Dr. Gence established his own clinic. Here, he has been able to provide a more focused and quality-oriented treatment experience for his patients. 

Dr. Gence is one of the few Turkish surgeons certified by the European Board, serving patients from around the world. He frequently shares his knowledge and expertise by speaking at academic conferences, participating in television programs, and providing consultations to patients in other European countries. 

He is a member of several professional associations, including the Istanbul Medical Chamber, Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association, and Aesthetics, Plastic Surgery Association.

Doctor Gence's training and education is further reinforced by his membership with the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association. He has also completed additional training in dermatology at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital from 2009 to 2014, and he served as a specialty doctor at Nusaybin State Hospital. His extensive knowledge and experience underscore his commitment to his patients and his field.
