Dr. furkan Erol Karabekmez

Dr. Furkan Erol Karabekmez embarked on his medical career in 1999 after graduating from Istanbul University, specifically the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. His extensive education further unfolded at Selcuk University, where he specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the Meram Faculty of Medicine, finalizing his training in 2009. 

In an endeavor to augment his expertise, Dr. Karabekmez spent over a year as a Research Fellow at the Mayo Clinic in the USA, actively involved in the Plastic Surgery department. This experience cultivated a collaborative relationship with the department, even after his fellowship concluded. Between the years 2010 and 2012, he diligently served in Konya Training and Research Hospital and Ağrı State Hospitals, followed by an appointment as an Assistant Professor at Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Medicine.

Further solidifying his proficiency in the field, Dr. Karabekmez was granted a Specialization in Facial and Maxillofacial Surgery from the ministry of health. He acquired the title of Associate Professor in 2014, and his professional journey also led him to a position as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Aldar Hospital, Saudi Arabia, between 2019 and 2021. Currently, he offers his expertise in a clinic based in Ankara since 2021.
