Dr. F.Gulru Erdogan

Dr. F. Gülru Erdoğan, a renowned medical professional, was born on February 21, 1967, in Ankara. Dr. Erdoğan's academic journey began at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, where she completed her medical degree between 1984 and 1990. She further honed her expertise by specializing in dermatology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine from 1990 to 1995. Demonstrating a commitment to broadening her knowledge, Dr. Erdoğan also pursued a specialization in Public Health Science at Hacettepe University's Department of Public Health from 2000 to 2003.

Dr. Erdoğan served as a Research Assistant at Ankara University's Department of Dermatology from 1991 to 1995. She then contributed her skills as a Specialist Doctor at Ankara SSK Dışkapı Hospital’s Dermatology Clinic from 1996 to 1998. Since 1998, Dr. Erdoğan has been providing specialized care at her private clinic. In 2006, she expanded her professional scope by joining the Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dermatology, where she has been sharing her expertise as an academic.

She played an active role in the Ankara Dermatology Association, serving as the Secretary of the Board of Directors from 2008 to 2010 and as a Member of the Board of Directors from 2012 to 2014. Her innovation in the field was recognized in 2012 when she received the Gold Medal at the Geneva Inventions Fair for developing Oniko Nail Wires, a treatment for ingrown toenails.
