Dr. Fatih Irmak

Dr. Fatih Irmak is plastic and aesthetic surgeon based in Istanbul, Turkey. Renowned for his work in body contouring and facial procedures, Dr. Irmak offers a comprehensive range of treatments to his patients.

Dr. Irmak's path into medicine began at Istanbul University's Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, where he graduated in 2007. He deepened his knowledge in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery during his residency at Sisli Etfal Education and Research Hospital between 2007 and 2013.

Dr. Irmak pursued additional specialized training during his fellowships at the University of Tokyo and Showa University in Japan in 2012.

He was nominated as an Associate Professor at Sisli Etfal Education and Research Hospital in 2018. Since 2017, he has also been leading his private clinic in Istanbul, the Dr. Fatih Irmak Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Center. Additionally, he holds a professorship in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Health Sciences.

• "Severe Symmetrical Facial Lipoatrophy in a Patient With Discoid Lupus Erythematosus." Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, 2012. This case study reports a young male patient with progressive symmetrical facial lipoatrophy, discoid lupus erythematosus and celiac disease. Fat grafting and adjuvant oral coenzyme Q10 tablets (Deka-none; Deka Pharmaceuticals, Istanbul, Turkey) were administered for treatment. The patient exhibits very prominent periorbital lipoatrophy and bitemporal hollowing, marking the first such case in the literature.
