Dr. Ergin Er

Dr. Ergin Er received his medical degree in 1992 from Gulhane Military Medical Academy in Ankara, Turkey. His educational background includes completing an internship and an Advanced Emergency Medicine Course at the same academy. In 2001, Dr. Er furthered his specialization in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Gulhane Military Medical Academy. That year, he also participated in a Microsurgery Course. 

In 2002, Dr. Er attended a Facial Plastic Surgery Workshop in New York and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor School of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2004. He also attended the Klein Tumescent Liposuction Course in California in the same year.

Dr. Ergin Er's professional engagements span various roles. Between 2012 and 2017, he served as a plastic surgeon at Anatomica Hospital. Prior to that, he had a private practice from 2008 to 2012 and worked as an aesthetic and plastic surgeon at Istanbul Memorial Hospital and Transmed Aesthetic and Hair Surgery Clinic.

Dr. Er's contributions to research in the field of plastic surgery have been acknowledged through awards from different organizations, including the Turkish Surgery Association, Hacettepe University, and the Turkish Plastic Surgery Association. He has also received research support from the Turkish Armed Forces and contributed to several research projects and publications.

Certified by the ECFMG in Basic and Clinical Sciences and holding a USMLE Step 1 and 2 certificate, Dr. Er is also a member of the European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ESHRS).

Dr. Ergin Er's areas of focus include liposuction, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, facial aesthetic surgery, hair transplantation, maxillofacial surgery, and extremity reconstructions. His academic contributions encompass several publications and presentations in national and international forums on related subjects.
