Dr. Candan Mezili

Dr. Candan Mezili embarked on his medical journey by earning his degree from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2005, followed by specialization in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital. This period allowed him to perform numerous surgeries, benefiting from the guidance of esteemed mentors in the field.

Upon completing his specialization in 2011, Dr. Mezili enhanced his surgical skills through extensive practice at Kars State Hospital and Kocaeli Darıca Farabi State Hospital during his mandatory service. His career trajectory then shifted towards private healthcare, where he contributed his expertise to several institutions, including Private Eryaman, Private Keçiören, and Private Kudret International Hospital, before joining Private Bodrum Acıbadem Hospital. Here, from the end of 2015 to May 2018, he focused on reconstructive surgeries, particularly for burnt and injured faces, microtia, and pediatric congenital anomalies, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mutaf.

Later, Dr. Mezili served as a Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery specialist at İzmir Private Ekol Hospital for a brief period, and presently, he continues his practice at his private clinic in Izmir. His professional approach is centered around understanding patient expectations, emphasizing the importance of communication and safety in achieving satisfactory surgical outcomes.

Dr. Mezili holds memberships in the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association and the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association, actively participating in national and international congresses, courses, and seminars to stay abreast of advancements in his field.

His educational background is complemented by work experiences across various settings, from state hospitals to private practices, showcasing a commitment to the field of plastic surgery through diverse surgical interventions and patient care practices.
